A Design Icon, Reborn

At The Chancery Rosewood guests discover a design icon, reborn as an epicentre of contemporary creativity. Alive with an enriching exchange of progressive ideas, voices & expression.

One of London’s most notable addresses, The Chancery Rosewood occupies the former US Embassy in the historic setting of Grosvenor Square. Steeped in an illustrious past of international importance, the building is now transformed into an exciting new gathering place for the future.

Taking its place as a cultural epicentre, talent and fresh perspectives are introduced to inject exciting new energy into London’s creative arts scene. Here, unknown talent stands shoulder to shoulder with the most recognisable creatives, as one-of-a-kind events, performances and exhibitions with niche artists, musicians, chefs and wellness experts are brought together.

Channelling the free-thinking spirit of the 1960s—originally designed by modernist Eero Saarinen and home to the U.S. Embassy—this iconic building is reborn under David Chipperfield Architects, featuring 144 suites, designed by Joseph Dirand. The sharply angled exterior is balanced by softer contours inside, where sleek lines intertwine with plush textures.

With eight bars and restaurants, guests are taken on a culinary journey—from the European premiere of New York's Carbone to a dynamic rooftop bar with room for 300 to dine al-fresco. The Chancery Rosewood is decidedly intimate. Deeply personal relationships define a hyper personalised experience, elevating the art of hospitality to new heights. Filled with discovery at every turn, guests enjoy seamless journeys, with no check-in or check-out times and two-way airport transfers crafted for effortless arrivals and departures.
