Italian Culinary Class

Learn how to make the classics of Italian cuisine at the hands of a master. Our culinary expert shares his knowledge for creating homemade pasta and flavorful sauces – the basic skills every Italian cook must know.

 

With hands-on instruction to prepare traditional Italian-style fresh pasta – your choice of Tagliolini, Tagliatelle, Spaghetti, Ravioli, or Strozzapreti- you'll then choose from a selection of sauce preparations, including Pomodoro, Bolognese, Pesto, or Carbonara. With traditional secrets every nona would approve of.

 

Classes take place in the Red Sauce restaurant. Enjoy a pasta feast and aperitivo with your fellow classmates at the convivial open kitchen, and learn more tips for our master chefs.

Luigi Troise

Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Chef Luigi Troise brings over 14 years of experience from five-star establishments across Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Korea, and Hong Kong.

 

His culinary passion ignited during his teenage years at a local Italian bistro—a formative experience that set the stage for his culinary journey. Throughout his career, Chef Luigi has honed his craft with prestigious hotel groups, deepening his commitment to authentic Italian cuisine.

 

Notably, he was part of the pre-opening team at BluHouse, Rosewood Hong Kong, as Senior Sous Chef. Chef Luigi now leads the culinary team at Red Sauce, Rosewood Phuket’s signature Italian restaurant, where he shares the rich flavors and traditions of his Italian heritage.
